ABOUT SYIAH KUALA UNIVERSITY AND ACEH
Syiah Kuala University (UNSYIAH) was established in June 1960. It is located in between Banda Aceh municipality and Aceh Besar Region, Indonesia. The university is comprehensive, state-owned with undergraduate and graduate degree programs that focus on implementable researchers for the benefit of its students and society. The university has 12 undergraduate faculties, 33 master and 10 doctoral programs. The university produce more than 30,000 degrees students in four consecutive commencement ceremonies annually.
Banda Aceh is the capital and the largest city in Aceh province, located in the northern end of Sumatra. The population is estimated to 250,000 people, according to January 2016 census. The city is surrounded by beach and mountain sceneries and hills.
