COOKING CLASS ‘SATE AYAM’

Tabanan, December 4, 2023. Darmasiswa students of IKIP Saraswati joined cooking class with SMK Saraswati students. One of the menu was Sate Ayam. Cooking class is not just a culinary endeavor; it’s a cultural immersion into the heart of Indonesian flavors. The experience typically begins with a visit to a local market, where vibrant stalls brim with fresh ingredients. Armed with skewers, marinated chicken, and a medley of spices, you dive into the art of crafting the perfect Sate Ayam. Accompanying the main course is the art of crafting the perfect peanut sauce, a velvety blend of peanuts, sweet soy sauce, tamarind, and a hint of chili for that distinctive kick. The class not only imparts culinary skills but also provides an understanding of the balance and harmony that defines Indonesian dishes.
