International Cross-Cultural Day (ICCD)

International Cross-Cultural Day (ICCD) is an annual event organized by UAJY to introduce various cultures to UAJY students and the surrounding community. Foreign students who studying at UAJY, including Darmasiswa Program students, are always involved in this event. In celebration of the 58th Anniversary, ICCD held on September 23 2023.

In this event, students decorate the booth with the characteristics of their country and introduce culture also culinary delights in there, and/or display their artistic skills on stage. On average, visitors are very interested in culinary delights and listening to stories about the customs and unique things of the foreign students’ countries.

Before taking part in the exhibition and performance, several students also took part in a workshop on making lanterns and fans with staff from Nanjing Xiaozhuang University, China.
